I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Nicole and Justin of Stowe, Vermont. The wedding ceremony and reception was held at the Jeudevine Falls in Hardwick, Vermont. It is a beautiful location with spectacular waterfalls. We used the waterfalls as a backdrop for some formal shots of the bride and groom and of the wedding party. It was tricky getting those shots as I had to balance myself on some small rocks in the middle of the flowing water. It was worth it!

I met Nicole through an ad she placed online. We communicated via email and eventually met in person to finalize the gig. I’m glad Nicole liked my work and signed me up as her wedding photographer. Nicole is really nice, fun, and gorgeous! I met Justin during the “Getting Ready” session, and he is terrific. A few weeks prior to the wedding, I did a portrait/modeling shoot of Nicole at a beautiful location in Stowe. She gave those photos to Justin as a wedding gift. The photos turned out great!
Nicole and Justin, congratulations and best wishes for many years to come. Thanks for having me at your wedding.
Cheers!

Melodie and Dileep are a very special couple, and they are even more special to my wife and I as they are good friends of ours. When we heard Dileep had proposed to Melodie on Halloween day 2009, we were so happy and excited for them. Sooner than later, they started to plan their special day, and I was commissioned to be their official wedding photographer. I felt honored and excited, and began to plan how I would capture their special day.

On Saturday, May 22, 2010, we spent several hours together for an engagement session photo shoot. We started in Burlington at the Waterfront, then switched scenes in Shelburne at the beach, and finally ending the session in Middlebury. I had a blast photographing Melodie and Dileep, and we shared lots of laughs. We had a great time. Melodie and Dileep loved their photos and they couldn’t wait to share them with family and friends. I put together a slideshow to the tune of one of their favorite songs. Cheers!

Date: August 7, 2010.
Location: Burlington, Vermont.

I was contacted by Maggie’s father, Steve, about a couple of weeks prior to the wedding. I have known Steve for a few years and he was aware that I did wedding photography. We worked out the financial details and agreements and then I followed up with Maggie for the in-depth wedding details. Luigi’s (@ Gigi) close family members and best friend flew down from Italy to take part in the beautiful, simple, and elegant wedding. Maggie and Gigi reside in Italy.

It was a lot of fun to photograph this wedding as both Maggie and Gigi are such fun and happy people. I ended up staying longer just to enjoy the company and festivities.

Thanks for the great time. Congratulations Maggie and Gigi.

I had the pleasure of photographing Deb and Bernard’s wedding in Montreal, Quebec in July 2009.  One of the unique thing about this wedding is the releasing of the doves following the wedding ceremony.  While everyone was getting excited over the birds, mingling, talking, and crowding around, I stationed myself firmly in the flight path of the birds.  The owner of the doves informed me in which direction the birds will fly once they are released, and I was in the right spot.

I adjusted my camera settings, pre-focussed, waited patiently, and fired some quick burst shots.  I was really happy that I managed to capture this shot.  The bird in flight with a full wing span and the reaction from the bride, is priceless!  This is definitely a money shot!
